The Chautauqua Lake Central School Board of Education includes seven volunteer community members, each elected to serve a three-year term of office.  Board members are not compensated for their service.

The primary function of the school board is to provide students with a quality educational program consistent with the educational standards of the State of New York.  For more information, please see the brochure at the bottom of this page.

To contact members of the Board of Education, send a message using the Contact Us button at left, or deliver or mail questions or comments to the address at the bottom of this page, or call the District Office (716) 753-5808.  According to district practice, to be considered by the Board of Education questions or comments must include the writer’s full name, mailing address, and telephone number.


The agenda for the upcoming Board of Education meeting is available at the bottom of this page; in the 1-2 days preceding each meeting, the agenda includes handouts to be discussed. Hard copies of handouts to be discussed at each Board meeting are available on request on Monday and Tuesday before each Board meeting at the Board-approved fee of 25 cents per page. Inquire at the District Office.

Business meetings are held at 7 PM on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with a Workshop meeting on the second Wednesday of the month. They are listed on the District Calendar; use the Calendars link at the top of this page.  The public is welcome at all Board of Education meetings.
