Hi, my name is Jayne Purdy.  I am entering my 14th year as a kindergarten teacher at Dunkerton School.  I live in Cedar Falls, on the Cedar River.  Once in a while, I come to school by boat and by car!  If your child tells you that Mrs. Purdy came to school in a boat today, they are not making it up!  I love reading and riding my bicycle.  I have one son who is currently living in Colorado Springs, so you can guess where I spend vacation time.  This is my 26th year as a Dunkerton elementary teacher.  Once again, I am looking forward to a great year with your children.
